Flint Ridge State Memorial and Museum

This ancient quarry site of Native Americans is famous for its high quality and colorful flint. A museum displays the qualities of flint and Native American uses of it. Several hiking trails bring the visitor close to ancient quarry pits as they wind their way through a diversity rich forest of abundant wildlife and plant communities. Located three miles north of Route 40 at Brownsville on Licking County Road 668. Hours: Open May through October, Saturdays 9 – 5 and Sundays 10 – 5. Fee $3.00 adults $1.00 students $2 AAA and free for OHS members

Opening for the season Saturday May 7th, 2011. Hours are Saturdays 9 - 5 and Sundays 10 - 5. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk every day.
