Pigeon Roost Farm

Enjoy 'Fall in the Country' at a working family farm. Pigeon Roost Farm is in it's 30th year and still growing. New family-friendly activities are added each fall.  Search the thousands of pumpkins for the perfect Jack-o-Lantern or pick your own from the field. Fall produce includes beautiful heritage squash, and many winter squash. Also available are birdhouse and decorative gourds, straw bales, Indian corn and corn shocks. And our own pumpkin honey is a sweet treat.  Kids of all ages will love the 'Great Pumpkin Fun Center' with slides, tunnels, corn box, and the new Corn Maze. Enjoy duck races, the cornstalk teepee, Fort Spence, and the 'Enchanted Forest' with Lydia's Treehouse, new obstacle course and a big green dragon. The best part of a farm is always the animals. The goats frolic on a goat walk, there are rabbits galore, and many turkeys, geese, ducks, and chickens to visit. See the baby bunnies and newly hatched chicks. And visiting camels are sure to entertain.  Shopping is fun at the farm with 3 shops of fall decorations and crafts. The Bathhouse has handmade soap, florals and towels. The little ones can find special treats in the Kids Korner.  On weekends enjoy wagon rides, face painting, Kettle Korn, and food by Weldon's Ice Cream.
