The Alexandria Museum is a locally administered collection of historical items and artifacts from Alexandria and St. Alban's Township. Located in the pre-1860 Laycock House, in the center of Alexandria, the museum's collections were founded over 30 years ago by local citizens in the Alexandria Community Council, the first community council in Ohio, in an effort to preserve local artifacts and provide a center for community history. The museum hosts it's annual "Quilt Month" in April with extened open hours. Open every Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and by appointment. Tours and educational groups are welcome.
