The Downtown Newark Association Hosts Santa
The Downtown Newark Association will host Santa Clause, after the traditional lighting of the Licking County Courthouse, Friday Nov.26, at 26 N. Park Place, the sight of the old Park Place Coffee Roasters.  The DNA will also host Santa the night of the DNA Holiday Open House, Dec. 3 from 6-8 pm at Forever Flowers, 27 W. Church St.. Santa will also be at Forever Flowers Sat. Nov. 27, Dec. 4, 11, & 18 from 2-4 in the afternoon.

Downtown Newark Association Hosts Holiday Open House The 3rd. Annual downtown Newark Holiday Open House, inviting you Home for the Holidays, will be Friday Dec. 3 from 4-8 pm. Downtown businesses will be open late with special sales, refreshments & entertainment. Carolers will be entertaining with Christmas songs as they walk around the beautifully decorated Courthouse Square. Santa will be at Forever Flowers from 6-8
to visit with the children. The DNA will have a Christmas shop at 26 N. Park Place, with cookbooks, Downtown Newark T-shirts & Strawberry Salsa. There will also be Christmas items for sale at the Christmas shop. Licking County Arts will be open as well as the Gift Shop at the Works.

Hundreds of luminaries will light your way as you walk from the shops to the gallery to your favorite restaurant. Over 20 downtown businesses have decorated their windows for the holidays in the Window Wonderland Decorating Contest. Leave a non perishable food item at your favorite to show support of this event. Food will be donated to the Salvation Army.

Vote for your favorite tree in the Arcade with a non perishable food item in the Trim a Tree Contest.
